Morocco’s Bayt Mal Al Qods Agency distributed vital humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Jerusalem on Thursday, at the Red Crescent Hospital in the city.
The agency said in a statement that they distributed “substantial amounts” of food aid, as well as medical equipment for the benefit of health facilities in the city.
Two Moroccan military planes also landed in El-Arish Airport in Egypt on Wednesday, carrying vital humanitarian aid for Palestine, which was handed to the Egyptian Red Crescent to be distributed in Gaza, the statement added.
The aid for Gaza includes food products, medical supplies, and water.
Since October 7, Israel has been conducting intensified operations in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, including airstrikes and a recent ground incursion into the besieged strip.
So far, the attacks have killed over 7,000 Palestinians, including nearly 3,000 children.
Israel also cut access to vital supplies such as water, electricity, and fuel to the Palestinian region, threatening to worsen the already dire humanitarian condition.
Hospitals have been running on generators, which are increasingly at risk of shutting down due to the depleting fuel resources.
