In addition, the “Young Player of the Year” category (under 21), which features Moroccan talents Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (Betis) and Bilal El Khannous (Genk).

Morocco’s national team coach Walid Regragui is among the nominees in the “Coach of the Year” category, demonstrating the extent of the talent the country displayed at last year’s World Cup. This title is currently held by former Egypt Pharaohs coach Carlos Queiroz.

In the “Club of the Year” category, a title held by Angolan club Atlético Petróleos de Luanda, Moroccan clubs Raja Club Athletic and Wydad Athletic Club earned their place among the candidates.
